Questions

Straight answers on prices, plans and who owns what.

Where do I start?

With a Site Checkup. It's 30 minutes on where your site stands today, or on not having one, and it costs $0. You keep a short written breakdown: what works, what's costing you calls or bookings, what to fix first, and whether you need me at all.

Can I just get a site built?

Yes. A build from $1,500 is a complete job on its own. You own the site and can host it anywhere. Hosting, hourly help and monthly hours are all optional.

How much does a website cost?

Builds start at $1,500 for about five pages. You get a fixed quote first.

What's in hosting?

For $39 a month I keep the site online, fast and secure. That covers hosting, HTTPS, backups, updates and uptime checks. Cancel any time. Changes to the site are billed separately.

How does hourly help work?

$100 an hour, billed in 15-minute steps ($25 each). Email me the change, I send an estimate first, and you pay for the time used. Most tasks take under 2 hours.

What does an hour get me?

Typical times. I estimate before every job.

Writing a blog post for you is priced separately.

Do I need a monthly plan?

Only if you change the site most months. Steady ($149/mo) is hosting plus 1.5 hours, which would cost $189 bought separately. Busy ($279/mo) is hosting plus 3.5 hours, $389 separately. If you change things a few times a year, hosting plus hourly is cheaper, and I'll tell you so.

Do unused hours carry over?

No. That's one more reason to skip monthly hours if your site rarely changes.

Can I pay nothing up front?

Yes. I build it for $0 down when you take Steady or Busy for 12 months.

Who owns the site?

You do. On a paid build you own the domain, the files and the content from day one. On a $0-down build you own the domain from day one and the files after the 12 months, or any time you pay the rest of the build.

Can I edit it myself?

These sites are built for speed and simple upkeep, so you email changes instead of logging into a builder. If you want to edit everything yourself every day, a builder app might suit you better, and I'll say so.

Do you work outside New York?

Yes, anywhere in the US. Everything happens over email and video calls.

Will I show up on Google?

I set up the basics: page titles, Google Search Console, a business listing where it fits, and a site that loads fast on phones. Nobody can promise a ranking, and you should be wary of anyone who does.

Who am I working with?

Me, Vlad. Same person from quote to launch to the email you send next year.
